GWMS will be hosting our annual Halloween party on Wednesday, October 22. The party starts right after school and ends at 5:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m., students must be picked up/walk home OR they can ride the activities bus home (main road stops only). The cost is $10 and includes pizza, desserts, and drinks. Activities include an open gym, outside play (weather permitting), a dance, and a costume contest! Please plan to join in the fun of this spook-tacular event! If you are the parent/guardian of a GWMS student and could help serve refreshments at the party, please call the school and leave your contact information for Ms. Clark, or email her at kthaxton@k12.wv.us. Schedule 1st day of school Tuesday, August 21, 2025 6th Grade: Normal schedule Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM, school begins at 7:58 7th & 8th Grade: have a 3.5 hour delay, buses run 3.5 hours late. Doors open at 11AM. School starts at 11:30AM. School ends at 3:07. 7th Grade bring vaccination records Thursday.
