Field Day - May 18th- Poca High School (PHS)
Grades 3, 4, 5 and Mrs. Pharis's Class - 8:15 - 11:45
Grades K, 1, 2 and Mrs. Fairchild's Class 11:45 - 1:45
All students who returned a permission slip will take a bus to PHS. Those who did not return a permission slip, will remain at school with another class/teacher.
Weather Forecast: Sunny and high of 80 degrees... Perfect!
Guests will enter at the FOOTBALL GATE, which is the entrance near the ticket booth.
PES: Guests can put up a tent in the bleachers. The track and field will be used for events. Guests may enter the track and field, but please be careful not to interfere with events.
Students will have lunch at Poca Elementary either before or after attending Field Day at PHS. There will be water and a snack available for students at PHS. If you would like to donate a healthy snack to your child's class, please notify the teacher.
Please apply sunscreen at home. Students will be permitted to wear hats to school on this day. TENNIS SHOES! No sandals, Crocs, slides, etc. will be permitted during events.
ONLY PARENT/GUARDIANS CAN CHECK-OUT THEIR CHILD AT PHS. YOU MUST SIGN-OUT WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER. If you wish for someone else on the emergency card to sign-out your child, he/she must do so at Poca Elementary.
This is a school event; therefore, all school rules apply! Your child must follow the rules set by PES Staff and his/her teacher.
