January Attendance Report
The attendance numbers are in for January!
This was a tough month for our students, families, and staff at Lakeside with all the sicknesses; however, there are some very positive parts of this report!
While we fell short of our school goal for January, several classes like Mrs. Samples, Mrs. Pauley, and Mrs. Brown all were above 95% Average Daily Attendance (ADA) rates. As a school, we did drop to 93.12% attendance, but we are still above where we were when we first started faithfully tracking attendance.
Another HUGE celebration! We decreased tardies by 9% from last month, and 46% decrease since October!!! WOW! That is such an amazing accomplishment!
An issue that must be addressed is the chronic attendance rate, which currently sits at 23.53% of our students who are “chronically absent,” or have missed 10% or more days. This includes verified and unverified absences.
