NTID Information #1 -
We will be sharing some NTID [Non-Traditional Instructional Day] information with you now through January 3, 2026 via Schoology and the HMS PTO Facebook page. This is to inform both parents/guardians and students of the NTID procedures/expectations. As the winter months approach, sometimes inclement weather affects school. As always, the Superintendent will make the decision when school is cancelled and when NTID will be used.
Your students received their middle school packets prior to winter break. The NTID schedule that our teachers and staff will be following at HMS is attached to this message. Students can access teacher support via Teams, as well as Schoology, should they need support with their NTID assignments. We made every attempt to provide packets that students would see as review and NOT new information. However, on these days, their teachers will be available according to this schedule.
Students will have one day, upon return to school, to get teacher help before they are required to turn in their work.
