PCS Students Livvi Miller, Chazz Grady, and Connor Reece Win Full-Ride Scholarships through the “Do it for Babydog” Vaccination Sweepstakes

Gov. Jim Justice surprised Hurricane High School senior, Livvi Miller, with a life-changing opportunity through his “Do it for Babydog” Vaccination Sweepstakes.

The Governor and Babydog arrived at the Hurricane High School Thursday, September 16, 2021, to surprise Livvi with a full-ride college scholarship. Livvi was presented with a full-ride college scholarship in front of her parents and classmates, teachers, and administrators at Hurricane High School, along with Superintendent Hudson and other leaders from Putnam County Schools.

The full four-year scholarship to any public college or university in the state, includes room and board, tuition, and books. The prize is valued at over $100,000.

Livvi has already qualified for the Promise Scholarship and has a 4.25 GPA. She says she has been working to save for college and plans to pursue a degree in education.

Chazz says he is looking to pursue a degree in journalism at either Marshall University or West Virginia University.
